Camping and dinner in Westcliffe on Saturday on private land 12 miles north of Westcliffe. Hike on Sunday near Coaldale.

Bring your own drinks. Bring everything you would need for car camping. We do have tables and chairs.
Meet early to mid afternoon at 1800 Road 192, Westcliffe for camping and camaraderie. As there is a fire ban, we will go to Westcliffe for dinner. Gate is slightly beyond the final destination shown on GPS apps by about 200 feet.
For those only hiking on Sunday, meet at 9:00 am at the parking area just before Hayden Campground southwest of Coaldale off Highway 50. Parking area is 4.9 miles up from Highway 50 on Hayden Creek Road 6.
Required Equipment
For camping, if not sleeping in your car, bring a tent, sleeping bag and pad. Bring a breakfast. As there is a fire band, we will go into Westcliffe for dinner. Also, bring your own drinks. Temperatures do plummet in the evening, so a jacket or blanket.
For the hike, bring a backpack with the ten essentials, water, sturdy boots, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, lunch, and plenty of water for warm temperatures.
