Hiking – West Mancos River Loop
The West Mancos River Loop is a short hike on sections of four trails. It takes you along the West Mancos Canyon rim, with breathtaking views of the La Platas, then drops below the rim for an up-and-down ramble along the West Mancos River before an ascent back to the rim.

This is a fun and easy hike with plenty of shade. There might even be a decent flow in the river if the rains keep up.
Meet at the Transfer Park Campground at 8:00 AM. We will begin the hike at 8:30 AM sharp.
Pizza and beer for lunch at Mancos Brewery for those that are interested.
Happy to carpool from Durango if needed. If so, we'll meet at Santa Rita Park at 7:00 AM sharp.
Required Equipment
Bring the 10 essentials and hiking poles since there is some up and down hiking into and out of the canyon.
