Starting at the top of Hoosier Pass we'll climb up to Hoosier Ridge, follow the ridge climbing three false summits before reaching the summit of Hoosier Ridge (13,352'), then descend to the northwest and climb up to the summit of Red Mountain C (13,229'). From here we will retrace our route back. This trip will be almost entirely off trail and there will be a fair amount of talus crossing, especially summiting and descending Red Mountain C. It has been many years since the leader has done this route so expect a little adventure.
We will meet at 7:30 am at the top of Hoosier Pass in the parking lot on the west side. From here we will cross Highway 9 to the west and begin hiking on the gated dirt road.
