We will follow the well-established Owl’s Perch, Sunny Aspen, and Old Ski Run Trails through the forest, then return via the Lodge Pole Loop. The final 0.5 mile to the summit is steeper and can be tricky because it follows an unmarked social trail, but it is doable and enjoyable. From the summit, we will have sweeping views of Pikes Peak, downtown Denver, and the Indian Peaks/Longs Peak area.
Bring snacks and/or lunch to enjoy at the summit.
