Meyer Ranch Park - CLOSED until Spring 2027
Meyer Ranch Park offers easy hikes and a few small scrambles. The top of Legault Mountain offers a clear view of Pikes Peak.
NOTICE: Starting 10/19, Meyer Ranch Park will be fully closed for forest health work. The closure is expected through spring 2027, weather permitting.
NOTICE: Starting October 19, Meyer Ranch Park will be fully closed for forest health work. The closure is expected to continue through spring 2027, weather permitting.
The project will require a full park closure for visitor safety. The main trailhead parking lot and neighborhood access points will also close.
The primary goals of this project are ponderosa pine and aspen enhancement and wildfire risk reduction. Park Alternatives: Flying J Ranch and Reynolds Park.

In addition to a variety of connected loop hikes and the Legault Mtn summit, the expansive meadow between the parking lot and the trails is a favorite for winter snow activities. Jefferson County info.
