Trailblazers group Snow climb & scramble up Wheeler mountain, just south of Breckenridge and Hoosier pass

This is climb #12 on Dave Cooper's Colorado Snow Climbs guide book.  This trip will include a moderate snow climb followed by a scramble on a ridge to reach the summit.  Participants are expected to be proficient with wearing crampons on rocks.  To be able to sign up on this trip, participants are expected to have prior steep snow (crampons/ice axe) climbing experience as well as screened and approved by the trip leader.

We'll start from the montgomery reservoir  trailhead.  We'll plan on a early morning alpine start for snow safety,  Tentative start time- 4am.
