Nordic Skiing – Grand Mesa - Ward Lake Nordic Trails
Cross Country ski tour at the Ward Lake Trails. We can do a 4 to 5 mile loop starting with Staircase to Skinned Horse working our way around to the Wild Trail.

Update 12/18/2024
We will ski out and back on the groomed Ward trail which is a nice trek through the trees with some short ascents and descents. We may do a short spur on the Skinned Horse Trail if the group wants to get off the groomed path for a short time.
The GMNC web site has trail maps and current conditions along with donation information.
Meet at the Ward Lake Trailhead at 10:00 am. Carpools from Montrose and Grand Junction will be arranged prior to the trip.
