Lost Canyon is a brand-new Open Space in Castle Rock, having just opened to the public in July. It is known for its rock hoodoos and canyon rims.
Much of this hike is on hard rock trails. There are a few places where there are some rock steps to go up and down as well. Trip participants should have a good sense of balance with this type of terrain. Sturdy shoes and hiking sticks are highly recommended, too.
We will meet at the Cabelas parking lot in Lone Tree at 8:00 AM to form carpools, and plan to leave shortly afterwards. We will gather at the North end of the lot. Do not park near the restaurant or hotels. https://maps.app.goo.gl/L5h77dsy2vjMmfiNA
