This 681-acre Castle Rock Open Space is east of I-25 and features 10 miles of hiking trails that run through a stunning blend of rolling grasslands, mature mixed coniferous forests, exposed hoodoo rock formations, and dramatic canyon cliffs.

Trails are limited to hikers only. Dogs, horses, and other pets are not allowed on the property, with bikes permitted only on roadways as a means of protecting sensitive natural resources and wildlife habitat.
