RMOTHG Trip – Silver Dollar Lake Trail - Silver Dollar Lake and Murray Lake Trail
Silver dollar and Murray lake trail begin off guenella pass at 11 thousand feet. We climb through the woods for the first mile. The hike continues on an open ridge, where there should be a multitude of wildflowers given the rainfall the past 2 nights. We can take our time on the ridge observing and photographing before reaching silver dollar lake. Another 300 foot climb takes us up to Murray lake . The threat of thunderstorms will alter our plans.

Meet at Wolly mamouth parking area, section BB at 7 am. We will carpool to Georgetown, stopping at the visitors center before continuing up Guenella pass. Optional ice cream stop in Georgetown on the way back.
