We'll climb routes in RRCOS based on climber preference. Top-rope and sport routes will be available.

Participants should have basic climbing skills, such as those included with the Basic Climbing badge. There will be a separate waiver session at the end of the day for those with prior climbing experience who want to take the equivalency test/waiver to get the Basic and Intermediate climbing badges.
Meet in the main, central RRCOS parking lot at the trailhead on the east side at 1 pm. We will climb until 4 pm or later. There will be a possible Basic/Intermediate rock climbing waiver session at 4 pm for those enrolled in that session.
Required Equipment
Your personal climbing gear to include helmet, harness, shoes, belay/rappel device, PAS/slings, and optional leading gear if you plan on leading. Club will supply anchors and ropes but you may also bring your own if desired. All climbers need to complete the annual climber registration for Colorado Springs Parks online- https://coloradosprings.gov/parks/webform/rock-climbing-permit
