Rock Climb – Red Rock Canyon Open Space

This is not a class and all participants should have the knowledge, either through a CMC class or personal experience, to safely complete these activities.

Thursday night climbing is moving to Fridays this year to allow for more flexibility in the types and length of climbs. Initially, we will have the first 3-4 climbs in Colorado Springs area. We will move to more regional venues like Turkey Rock, Shelf Road, and other climbs. Lastly, we will be doing full day multi pitch to destination climbing areas. We will do fairly easy multi pitch climbs in the 5.6-5.9 range and likely hit the classics. Those who have participated throughout the year will be given priority for multi pitch climbs.

We will climb from 4pm to Dark.  Meet at the Red Rocks Canyon Parking lot and walk from there.  We will likely climb the easiest routes and just enjoy being back outside while also staying in the sun to keep warm.
