  • Mileage: 2.0 mi

Must have: CMC's “Intermediate Rock Climbing Badge” or equivalent.  Must have the "Basic" knowledge of safe top-rope belay skills; but, leading/cleaning/advance rock skills are always welcomed.  Come out and climb as hard or as easy as you like (or whatever we can find to climb that’s available).

NOTE (Cleaning Anchors): Most single pitch crags in this canyon have mussy hooks, but it’s not always so…  for those that are cleaning anchors w/out Mussy Hooks, please stay in your comfort zone.

Meet at Lazy V Parking Lot at 4:30pm in Staunton State Park. This is precipitation-weather dependent, and subject to be cancelled or moved depending on weather...  But, if it isn’t too crazy, it’ll probably go…  We will hike in together and decide on which crag to climb, while chasing some shade (or sun)...

*If you arrive after, please reach out before hand, and we will meet you at the crag…
