Level 2 Scramble Trip for DEN ASC 2025. Priority registration for current students of ASC, individuals seeking to complete their scramble trip leader certification, and past student of ASC. Must have a scrambling badge and be approved by the trip leader to participate.

I do not expect us to need traction on this route. However, please bring them with you just in case.

Wooly Mammoth Park-N-Ride, Section AA
Saturday 8/2 6:00 PM for 6:15 departure
Campers should be self-sufficient with no-cook meals and appropriate layering/equipment to camp at 11,300'. Pit toilets available at TH.
If you choose to carpool, please bring cash to contribute toward gas and mileage.
Trailhead Meetup:
Grays and Torreys Summer Trailhead
Parked and at summer TH by 4:45 AM for 5:00 AM start. Arrive early to work out parking (see note below)
NOTE: The summer trailhead fills extremely quickly, around 3 or 4 am, and there is strict parking enforcement. Once the 40-car lot at the upper (summer) trailhead is full, you will need to return to the lower (winter) trailhead near I-70 to park, adding 6 miles roundtrip. Group may or may not be able to hold a parking spot while one of the camping cars shuttles morning arrivals.

Helmet, ice ax, traction (e.g., Microspikes), climbing/alpine harness, chest harness, two locking carabiners, prussik loop, printed map, appropriate footwear, 10 essentials.
