Berrian Mountain
Berrian Mountain is part of Denver Mountain Parks, located in Conifer. Near the summit is a notable rock outcropping known as Berrian Pinnacle that hikers can walk up to get stunning Front Range views of CO-73, Mount Blue Sky, the Indian Peaks, and Longs Peak.
The hike is through pine/aspen forest with large rock outcroppings. The trail splits (at about .85 mile up/8135' elev) to make a lollipop trail. Berrian Pinnacle is located at the top of the lollipop. Although the trail does continue on for .2 more miles/100' gain to the top of Berrian Mountain, it is heavily forested and has no views. All the views are from atop the Pinnacle.
Parking is limited to 5-6 cars on the other side of the road in between "parking allowed" signs. Some sections of the trail go through private property or come very close to it. Please respect the no trespassing signs.
