Chihuahua Lake
A moderate 7.5 mile hike with 1900' elevation gain through meadows and marshes, then climbing to a lake nestled against a headwall of the valley below the Continental Divide and Grizzly Peak D.
According to AllTrails: Park along Peru Creek Road (FSR 260) at the Chihuahua Gulch Trailhead and hike up the dirt Chihuahua Gulch Rd two miles to the official Chihuahua Lake Trail (USFS #263). Continue on to the lake.
If you have a 4WD, high clearance vehicle, you may be able to drive instead of hike up Chihuahua Gulch Rd. Two miles up the road you will see a "No motor vehicles past this point" sign. The 4WD road will continue to the right (east). You should take a left to continue to the lake.
