Eccles Peak
Eccles Peak is a ranked 12'er, providing fantastic views of Dillon Reservoir, Gore Range and verdant alpine valleys full of elk.
Eccles Peak (12,313') isn't an official name so the peak is not on some maps. Start at Meadow Creek Trailhead on the frontage road near Frisco off I-70, Exit 203. Much of route is off trail, and can be done as snowshoe or hike. In winter, careful research and route finding may be needed to avoid avy terrain.
