Starting at the Bear Lake TH, moderately challenging 7.5 mile loop visiting 5 lakes as well as Alberta Falls. Could be shortened into a 4 lakes loop by skipping the loop around Bear Lake or the out & back to Emerald Lake. Summer or Winter hiking possible. If the loop is attempted in the winter months, will need good traction devices and snowshoes depending upon conditions. Rocky Mountain National Park is open year-round.
