Guanella Pass

Scenic byway located between Georgetown and Grant, CO. At the pass, a number of trails start.

Many of the trailheads at the pass have their own Routes & Places, linked below. 

Square Top Mountain (13,794') via Guanella Pass: 7 miles, 2,500 feet of elevation gain.  Trail is above treeline. 

Square Top Lakes via Guanella Pass: 4-5 miles, 1,000 feet of elevation gain. On the way to Square Top Mountain, these high alpine lakes are over 12,000' elevation and a hidden gem. 

Mt Bierstadt.  A classic 14'er. From that TH, hike to Mt Blue Sky, Spaulding, and Gray Wolf, or to the Chicago Creek Basin.

Rosalie Trail.  Hike down to Threemile Creek TH  or Abyss Creek TH or up into the Wilderness to Tanglewood or Cub Creek Trails, among many other trails.
