Hike to "Three Crosses Hill" on and off trail, on this easy-to-moderate 4-mile, 1200-ft gain hike. This hike on private property is used for the Northern Colorado group's Mountain Hiking Course navigation field day, through a special arrangement with the property owner.

Course participants will hike to "Three Crosses Hill," with side excursions to practice off-trail map-and-compass navigation, triangulation, and other skills. Enjoy stunning views of Mount Meeker, Meeker Park, and the Twin Sisters. Approximately 4 miles round trip and 1200 ft of elevation gain. Note that the off trail component makes this hike more difficult than the mileage suggests.
