Loch Lomond
Loch Lomond is a beautiful alpine lake located above Alice near St. Marys.
Loch Lomond Road and Trail (also called Steuart Road or NFSR 701) is a shared hiking and OHV route which leads to Loch Lomond. There are two gates which are closed seasonally for motorized vehicles. The upper gate is closed October 15-July 15 and the lower gate is typically closed December 1 - June 1. The road is open year-round for hiking and snowshoeing. Along the way there up close views of Mount Bancroft and more distant views of Mount Blue Sky to the south.
