RMNP - Lookout Mountain

A 10,702 ft mountain with a rock formation made for scrambling. This out and back is 4.5 miles with 1,900 ft of elevation gain. It is a moderately steep trail.

Offers excellent views of Mt Meeker and surrounding area.  The trial begins in the Roosevelt National Forest and quickly crosses into RMNP near the Wild Basin Area.  Very limited parking in a residential area.
