MacGregor Falls
Hike along Lumpy Ridge past the historic MacGregor Ranch meadow and along Black Canyon Creek through pines/aspens to MacGregor Falls below MacGregor Mountain
Beginning at the Lumpy Ridge TH in RMNP, hike west through pines and a meadow as you cross the historic MacGregor Ranch property on a conservation easement before hiking along Black Canyon Creek as the trail gets narrower and steeper. The forested trail passes a few refreshing cascades and rocky sections just before reaching the MacGregor Falls. Views of Longs Peak, Lumpy Ridge and MacGregor Mountain make this moderately challenging 6.4 mile, 974' gain out-and-back hike quite scenic.
