Maryland Creek Park

Maryland Creek Park, Silverthorne, CO can be a meeting location for trips into the Dillon Ranger District and Eagles Nest Wilderness.

Maryland Creek Park is managed by the Town of Silverthorne.  There are hike connections from here to the Eagles Nest Wilderness, and the Willow Lakes (USFS #36), Gore Range (USFS #60), and Maryland Creek (USFS #9166) Trails managed by the USFS.  Suitable meet spot for hiking, snowshoeing, and backcountry Nordic skiing. 

In addition to a large parking lot and restrooms, the park offers a dog park, a disc golf course, and a sledding hill, warming shelter, and picnic pavilion. 

Maryland Creek Park Parking Lots:

  1. 44 Maryland Creek Lane, Silverthorne, CO 80498. This large parking lot can be used as a meeting/car drop place for many routes and types of trips in all seasons. This is the preferred parking area for park and trail users. 
  2. Maryland Creek TH and Gore Trail Parking Lot, 185-442 Lake Everist Ln, Silverthorne, CO 80498.  This very small parking area is located along the road past the park and provides more direct access to the Maryland Creek Trail, but the City prefers hikers use the big Park lot, which is immediately off CO-9.
