On either side of the Seven Utes Yurt, follow the Seven Utes Trail, which soon comes to the bridge that crosses Michigan River and continue up an old logging road for about a mile to the actual trail. Continue on the trail up the drainage to a ridge between Seven Utes Mountain and Mount Mahler. Continue east off trail on talus to the summit. At the summit enjoy the fantastic 360 deg views of mountain ranges and the view down on Lake Agnes.
