Point 8228

Point 8228 is a Larimer County ranked peak near the old Eggers townsite in Poudre Canyon west of Fort Collins.

At an elevation of 8,228 feet, this summit offers a short but fun scramble to its summit and fantastic views of the northern Front Range.  This peak is most often reached from the Eggers Fishing Access lot, approximately 37 miles west of Fort Collins on Colorado Highway 14.  Google shows this summit as Raven's Rock but USGS maps do not show it as named.
