Red Mountain Glades (Breckenridge, Colorado)

Red Mountain is a peak south of Breckenridge.

The Red Mountain Glades is a north-facing mellow tree ski on the lower half of the north side of Red Mountain. The approach to the base of the line is 1.1 miles and 365 feet of gain on what is a road/trail in the summer. Then each lap of the north-facing trees is about 0.9 miles and 1,227 feet of gain. 2 laps is typical for a 6 mile, 2,800 foot day. You will see beautiful views of the Tenmile Range from this ski and tend to find great powder.
