Red Mountain Pass
The Red Mountain Pass (11,018') area is located to the south of Ouray and offers multiple recreational opportunities.
Red Mountain Pass includes Forest Service land along both sides of highway 550 from Ironton Park to the pass itself. Highway 550 is often referred to as the Million Dollar Highway. The area is rich in mining history, peaks and scenic trails.
