RMNP - Fern Lake TH
This TH is located at the end of a gravel road. It provides trail access to Fern Lake, Odessa Lake, Spruce Lake, Bear Lake, and The Pool, a stream confluence. It intersects Cub Lake Trail and so provides access to Cub Lake and to Mill Creek Basin.
*Rocky Mountain National Park expects entrance delays this summer as the Fall River entrance on the east side will be reduced to one lane. Visitors are encouraged to use the Beaver Meadows entrance. Please note that RMNP will be using a timed entry permit again this year from May 26 - October 22. Plan accordingly.

You can make a loop and/or a car shuttle with the Cub Lake Trail although part of the finish may be on a gravel road. Groups may need a reservation during the summer plus car entrance reservations.
Note: Fern Lake Trail area experienced fire damage from the 2020 East Troublesome Fire.
