RMNP - Timber Lake Trail
This trail is an access point to the Timber Creek area camping sites including Timber Creek, Jackstraw, and Snowbird.

The Timber Lake Trailhead is on the west side of the Continental Divide between Grand Lake and Milner Pass. Timber Lake Trail passes through forests and meadows to reach the open area at Timber Lake. Follow Highway 34 (Trail Ridge Road) either 10 miles north of the Kawuneeche Visitor Center or 7 miles south of Milner Pass.
Along the trail are three campsites.
Timber Creek Campsite - 4.3 miles, 2118' gain
Rockslide Campside - 3 miles, 1387' gain
Snowbird Campsite - 4.5 miles, 2260' gain
Timber Lake - 5 miles, 2271' gain
Jackstraw Mountain (11,693') - About a mile northwest of the Rockslide Campground. There is no official trail to the summit.
