Ron Stewart Preserve at Rabbit Mountain

Ron Stewart Preserve at Rabbit Mountain is part of Boulder County Open Space and has three multi-use trails. The Preserve is located in northeastern Boulder county, near Lyons and Longmont.

Ron Stewart Preserve at Rabbit Mountain features three multi-use trails for hiking, biking, and equestrian use. There is one trailhead, with parking for 38 cars and a restroom. Indian Mesa Trail: 2.2 miles (one-way); This trail begins at the parking lot trailhead

Little Thompson Overlook: 1.5 miles, (one-way); This trail begins at the parking lot trailhead

Eagle Wind Trail: 2.5 miles (loop); This loop begins within the Preserve, not at the parking lot, and can be accessed from either of the other trails 

Little Thompson and Eagle Wind: ~5.5 miles round-trip, beginning and ending at the parking lot
