Storm King Memorial Mountain Trail
The trail follows the route of the 14 firefighters who died protecting the mountain. Difficult trail of 4 miles round trip, 1400' vertical gain.
The Storm King Mountain trail is dedicated to the memory of the brave firefighters who died in the 1994 fire. Plaques and memorials are located along the trail where they perished. The trailhead is located at 46535 US-6, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601.
