Trip Report

Backcountry Skiing/Splitboarding – Cameron Pass

A LIT trip designed to help members new to bc ski gain experience. Exceptional weather and snow.

  • Road suitable for all vehicles
  • The weather was sunny, mild temperatures, and no wind. There was half a foot of fresh powdery snow that made the whole experience memorable.

This area is rarely visited and requires trail breaking and navigation skills. It is necessary to properly identify the low angle passages between ledges to avoid ending up in uncomfortable  situations on densely wooded steep slopes.

This area is completely free of avalanche exposure.

Opportunities to continue on the ridge or make various loops on the way down to the road.
