Basic Snowshoe – Lake Isabel Recreation Area - Logging Road at San Isabel

Snowslide trail is only being used to the old logging road at which point users have created a nice snowshoe track onto the closed road. We broke more trail leaving a longer track for others.  Downfall, and debri has been removed on the earlier part of the closed road.  We stopped when navigating fallen trees became to risky.  We were able to get in 5.5 miles and 1,000 foot of elevation gain.
