Trip Report

Hiking – Bird hike at Oxbow park and preserve (Durango)

This hike was an enjoyable spring saunter led by master birder, Mike Foster. We counted several species including a belted kingfisher, bald eagle, and more. Mike shared many cool bird facts along with other ecological tips. We were thrilled to have others on the hike that also enjoyed birding. The Oxbow Preserve is alive with the energy of Spring. Thanks, Mike!
