RMOTHG Trip – Gibson Lake
Beautiful hike for those who are in shape enough for a moderately steep and rocky hike that ascends 2000 ft in 3.5 miles at high altitude. Fields of wildflowers, flowing streams, towering peaks, and a gorgeous alpine lake - what's not to love! Bears and moose frequent this area...

The road to Hall Ranch CG from 285 (CR 60) is very bumpy with some deep potholes, but a Subaru Outback made it.
Very muddy trail the last 1/4 mile to lake. High top boots recommended!
