This hike is for students of the Pikes Peak Group's Wilderness Fundamentals course
casual 5.5-mile fun and informative hike to review:
-Ten essentials (what do you carry and why)
-Wilderness travel / Leave No Trace
-When things go wrong
-Weather planning vs reality
-Favorite hikes and snacks

The field session will be one day, usually scheduled the Saturday after the course starts.

Details on the location, date and times will be provided to registered students approximately a week in advance.

Note that the field session may be rescheduled due to weather or field location conditions.
