Interested in 14ers? Or 13ers? Join the Colorado High Peaks Section!
  1. More Trips—Colorado High Peaks will create many more “general” backpacking trips than offered to members in recent years
  2. Greater Variety—Colorado High Peaks will offer a greater variety of trips, including easy and more difficult, overnights and multi-day, weekend and weekday, out-and-backs and loop trips, and with down time for fishing or exploring the area
  3. Earlier Scheduling—Colorado High Peaks will post a list of summer trips in early spring, to give participants more time to plan their summer
  4. Advanced Notice—Colorado High Peaks members will be kept informed on what’s being planned and given email notice as soon as trips are available for registration
  5. Education—Colorado High Peaks will offer backpacking articles and field training beyond Backpacking School
  6. Coaching—Colorado High Peaks will help members with prior 14er experience get started climbing peaks again
  7. Newsletters—Colorado High Peaks members will periodically receive published news
  8. Notices – Members will periodically receive notice of coming events, including spots still open on posted trips

How do I Join this Section?

Select this section when you sign up for your new CMC membership. 

If you are already a member of the Club and want to join the free mailing list and become a part of the Colorado High Peaks, you can select “Colorado High Peaks” located in the special interest section of your Member Profile.
