Technical Climbing Section
Technical Climbing Section The Technical Climbing Section is the Colorado Mountain Club's fastest growing section of members dedicated to climbing, community and the continued development of mountain craft. Technical Climbing Section

The Technical Climbing Section is the Colorado Mountain Club's fastest growing section of members dedicated to climbing, community and the continued development of mountain craft. Mountain travel is for all seasons and so is the Technical Climbing Section.

The Technical Climbing School Section is open to any Group within the Colorado Mountain Club. Membership with the Section is free for Instructors and Trip Leaders with the minimum requirement of 6 days of instruction on climbing-related classes, 6 technical trips led or a combination of the two.

TCS Committee (2024)

The purpose of the TCS Committee (TCSC) is to provide leadership and support for TCS programming and to represent TCS programs within the CMC. The Technical Climbing School meets monthly on the first Monday of each month from 5:30-7:30pm. If you are interested in joining a committee meeting, please feel free to drop in. Locations vary between the American Mountaineering School, breweries and there is always a virtual option. If you are interested please contact Graham at graham@cmc.org.
