Glacier Travel is for CMC members who are interested in learning and practicing the glacier travel and alpine skills that are needed to safely climb and enjoy glaciated mountains, including Mt. Rainier, Denali, the Andes. Glacier Travel culminates in a grad climb of Mt. Rainier, Mt Baker, Mt Adams or a similar high, glaciated peak.
This is a 6 month commitment, only register if you can give 100% to this class
NOTE: NOT ALL DATES ARE LISTED UNDER COURSE REQUIREMENTS
Class dates are on Wed nights with field days on the weekends:

Jan 10
Jan 17
Jan 20 OR 21- st marys
Jan 24
Feb 3 OR 4-st marys
Feb 7
Feb 17/18 OR 24/25- winter hike (one day)
Feb 21
Feb 28
March 2 & 3- winter camp/test out weekend
March 13
May 4- GRAD TEAM practice- winter park
Then the next 3-4 months are with your grad team training on the weekends for your climb

This information will be provided during night 1 (Orientation). Expect to send a good amount on gear for this class.
