Warm clothing, rain gear, insulating ground pad

Headlamp and extra batteries
7. Fire starter
Waterproof matches, flint, and lighter
8. First Aid Kit
Always pack to your level of knowledge and ability
9. Multi-tool / knife
Repair kit, duct tape
10. Nutrition / hydration
Extra food, water, water filtration device, knowledge of water sources on trip
