As CEO of Colorado Mountain Club, I know how much work is needed to foster responsible recreation and protect our cherished wild spaces. When you support CMC, you fund the trail work that helps maintain our mountains, the classes and courses to take your experiences to the next level, and the youth programs that inspire our future stewards.
Thanks to people like you, we were able to accomplish the following things this year:
- 2,240+ stewardship and volunteer hours were spent working on US Forest Service trails.
- CMC Snow Rangers dedicated 360 hours to patrolling, maintaining trailheads, and educating backcountry visitors.
- 9,400 people ventured outside on more than 1,600 trips.
- We educated 970 people through 176 different courses.
- Through Outdoor Unidos, we introduced 92 people to the outdoors for the first time.
- 6,300 kids and teens attended our camps, courses, and programs, inspiring a lifelong love of Colorado's outdoors.
- Thanks to donors, we were able to make outdoor recreation more accessible by offering more $60,000 in scholarship and financial assistance funds.
We need your financial support to continue this critical work.
Your year-end giving is important, and every dollar you share with Colorado Mountain Club makes a real, measurable difference. From high altitude trails to youth course classrooms, this is our moment to stand together, protect the trails we love, and preserve the majesty of Colorado's wild heart for years to come.
Will you help us carry the torch? Please make your impactful Colorado Gives Day gift today.
See you on the trails,

Madeline Bachner Lane
