This is a Trailblazer hike for to Mount Bison via the Ute Creek trail. This is 3800 vertical feet and over 12 miles, depending on trail conditions it will be a very tough snowshoe. (We may just go to valley below the peak to see the rock formations)

  • Challenging
  • Mileage: 12.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 3,800 ft
  • High Point Elevation: 12,387 ft

This hike is hard in the Summer, depending on trail conditions this could be a very difficult winter hike, bear that in mind when signing up.  This is a very weather dependent hike, in case of bad weather a alternative hike in Staunton State park will be the alternative.
