This trip will be at a more relaxed pace than usual.
This is a register with leader trip, those who register without leader approval will be removed from the trip until leader approval is obtained.

We will start at the Bear Lake Trailhead and take the Flattop Mountain Trail to the junction with the Fern Lake Trail. We will then take the Fern Lake Trail until just before the Sourdough Campsite where we will take a spur trail to Two Rivers Lake. From there we will travel to Lake Helene. Some of this could involve off trail travel. As time permits we will explore around the Lake Helene area enjoying views of Grace Falls, Little Matterhorn and Notchtop Mountain.

Required Equipment
Ten essentials. Final required gear decision will be made closer to the time of hike based on current conditions. Assuming winter conditions snowshoes and Microspikes. Winter gear including gators. Poles if you use them.
