Meet at Colorado Mountain Club in Golden Colorado at 7:00 AM. Departure at 7:15 AM. We will Carpool to the Trailhead.

The Third of a series of six progressively more difficult hikes in the Ascending Hikes Series - held each Friday for six weeks. Ascending hikes are meant to help get in shape through the season and build upon hiking knowledge. Our Goal in this third hike of the series will be to achieve a larger elevation gain hike and increase our stamina.

MT Falcon park is a close to town JEFFCO park. Sometimes in the spring JEFFCo will close certain parks if conditions are muddy: Relocating the hike to another close by location is always a possibility in spring hikes.

Everyone should bring the ten essentials (google is your friend). A hiking stick or treking pole is recommended. Appropriate clothing layers, hiking boots etc.

Leader will send out a GPX track and Details on the route and conditions 2 days prior to the hike.

You should be comfortable with achieving a 6+ mile hike with elevation.

Ascending Hikes are meant to help with conditioning and we always adjust our pace to meet the needs of the group.
