Ascending Hikes – South Valley Park - Swallow Trail and Grazing Elk Loop

The first of a series of hikes for Ascending Hikers to begin getting in shape for summer. This is an easy 5 1/2 mile hike close to Denver.

This hike is intended for those who are new to CMC, those who are working on getting in shape, and will not be a fast hike.  We will also review typical contents of a day pack for longer hikes.

South Valley Park - North Trailhead  ready to hike at 8:30 am.   The trailhead is located at 8354 South Valley Road, Littleton, CO 80127.
