We will drop cars at Henderson Mine then proceed up to Berthoud Pass to start the hike directly across US-40.
From the TH, hike up then follow the CDT/Nystrom Trail along Stanley's ridge for a couple miles, and back down the back of Stanley. Head southwest on the CDT/Nystrom Trail around and down the side of Vasquez Peak, taking the Stanley Spur down, ending up at the parking area across from the TH, near Henderson Mine. Some of us will then return to pick up the cars at Berthoud Pass.
We'll write a day or two ahead with updated weather information, a gpx track, and a map.
We will meet at Wooly Mammoth BB at 6:00am to transfer people and equipment, sort groups, trade cars, and then a prompt drive-away. We'll decide there about the shuttle/carpool arrangements.
The carpooling sharing cost is $25 per car to be split among the occupants including the driver.
