A late season, one night, backpacking trip to the beautiful American Lakes near Cameron Pass. Expect colder temperatures, with possibly early season snow.

Tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag (for colder conditions)
Stove, fuel, pot, water filter, bear canister/bag
Microspikes
Plan on packing food for dinner on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday, and lunch on both days. Saturday's lunchtime might coincide with driving to the trailhead or being on the trail, so pack lunch that doesn't require preparation.
