This is a difficult loop and includes climbing over Medicine Bow peak with overnight backpack. So pack light and make sure you can complete the miles and vertical - the climb is on trail with many boulders near the top but certainly not technical.
Meet the leader at Snowy Range Observation Points at 10am. That is 0.3 miles west of Libby Flats on the west side of the road. This is past the turn-off for the actual trailhead but the observation point shouldn't be missed and is a better place to meet up since there is cell phone service at that high point. Contact information will be provided to those car pooling from Denver area once roster is finalized.

Required Equipment
Proper equipment to protect food from bears. Bear cannisters are not required, but recommended, since it is difficult to find trees for properly hanging a bear bag.
