With wildfire season in full force, we will continue to watch conditions as the trip dates get closer and adjust accordingly if necessary.

Mid-September will likely result in daytime temperatures that are slightly lower than we have experienced on our other two trips.  Similarly, overnight temperatures are likely to be colder as well and even dipping to freezing or below.  Clothing and sleep system considerations should be made accordingly.  Also, with possible freezing, water filter freezing is possible (but manageable).

Although WAY TOO EARLY to be accurate, I heard a recent weather forecaster describe the possible increasingly likely "Super El Nino" might result in an extended monsoon season and possibly wetter late summer and early fall here in Colorado.  Again, we'll monitor forecasts and plan and adjust accordingly.

Time and location TBD, but probably will meet at the CMC Clubhouse / headquarters.  Proposing departure time of 6:30 AM which would put us at the trail head roughly at 9:00 AM.
